Police Investigate Suspicious Man at Cambridge School

Waterloo Regional Police are searching for a man who was reported on the grounds of a Cambridge elementary school while children were outside for recess.

Officers were called to the area of Baldwin Drive and Guelph Avenue in Hespeler around 1:00 p.m. Monday. The man was seen walking through a school playground and parking lot and appeared to be recording video.

School staff told police the man left after being informed he was not allowed on school property. Authorities say he did not speak to or approach any students.

The man is described as an adult, about six feet tall, wearing a dark coat and black hat. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
