Gusty Winds Expected Across Waterloo Region Tuesday Night

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Waterloo Region, warning of strong winds Tuesday evening into early Wednesday.
Northwesterly gusts may reach 70 km/h, with isolated gusts up to 80 km/h, raising the risk of localized power outages. The winds follow a winter system that dropped up to 8 cm of snow, making for a messy morning commute. Conditions are expected to calm by early Wednesday, with milder weather forecast for Christmas Day.
