Christmas Day Convenience Store Robbery Under Investigation in Kitchener

Police are searching for a suspect following a Christmas Day robbery at a convenience store in Kitchener. Waterloo Regional Police say the incident happened around 12:30 p.m. near Victoria Street South and Westmount Road.
Investigators report that a male suspect entered the store, brandished a knife, and demanded money from an employee before fleeing on foot toward Mooregate Crescent. No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 20 to 30 years old and about 6’2” tall, wearing dark clothing. Police are asking anyone with information to contact WRPS or Crime Stoppers.
