Cambridge Snow Event: Nearly 300 Parking Tickets Issued This Week

Cambridge, Ont. — Nearly 300 vehicles were ticketed this week as the City of Cambridge continues to enforce an on-street parking ban during ongoing snow events.
The city says 297 tickets and three tows were issued since January 5 to keep roads clear for snow removal. Officials note some residents may still be unaware of the restrictions, which remain in effect until Friday, Jan. 9 at 6 p.m.
Crews are responding to snow, ice, and freezing rain, while also managing limited road salt supplies by supplementing with winter sand. Since late November, Cambridge has issued more than 2,600 tickets during snow events.
