Cambridge Fire Leads Police to Stolen Vehicle and Auto Parts Investigation

A fire at a Cambridge business has led Waterloo Regional Police to seize a stolen vehicle and multiple stolen auto parts.
Police and the Cambridge Fire Department responded to a blaze Saturday around 6:15 p.m. at a property on Eagle Street North near King Street East. While investigating the scene, officers determined that one vehicle had been reported stolen, with additional stolen parts also found on site.
The vehicle and parts were seized, and the case is now being handled by the WRPS Break, Enter and Vehicle Theft Unit. Police say the fire is not considered suspicious, and no injuries were reported.
