Kitchener Rangers Extend Win Streak to Four With 7–4 Victory Over Saginaw Spirit

The Kitchener Rangers extended their winning streak to four games with a 7–4 home victory over the Saginaw Spirit at the Memorial Auditorium on Friday night.
Rangers forward Jack Pridham opened the scoring in the first period, providing Kitchener with its lone goal of the frame. Saginaw responded with two goals to take a 2–1 lead into the second period.
Pridham struck again early in the second, but the Spirit once more answered with a pair of goals, pushing their lead to 4–2 midway through the game. From that point on, the momentum shifted decisively in Kitchener’s favour.
The Rangers mounted a strong comeback, scoring five unanswered goals spanning the remainder of the second period and into the third. Four of those goals came on the power play, highlighting a productive night for the Rangers’ special teams.
Pridham capped off a standout performance by recording his third goal of the night, earning another hat trick and extending his point streak to eight games. Gabriel Chiarot added his first home-ice goal as a Ranger, while centreman Sam O’Reilly delivered a strong showing at the faceoff circle.
The win gives Kitchener a confident start to the weekend as they continue to climb in the OHL standings. The Rangers remain on home ice for their next matchup, hosting the Guelph Storm on Saturday afternoon.
