City of Waterloo Hiring for 85+ Summer Jobs in 2026

The City of Waterloo is now accepting applications for more than 85 summer job positions for the 2026 season. Roles are available across parks, aquatics, camps, recreation programs, and special events, supporting city services during the summer months.

Waterloo is a living wage employer, with all staff earning a minimum of $22.70 per hour, effective April 1. To help applicants learn more, the city will host a Summer Job Fair on January 14 at the Waterloo Recreation Centre.

Applications are open online and must be submitted by January 19, 2026. These seasonal roles offer valuable work experience while contributing to the local community.
